About our Saturday Service

Our Saturday Music Therapy Service runs at the Ealing Quaker Meeting House in Ealing Broadway during term time. It is open to children and young people with additional needs who do not have access to Music Therapy in school.

Our qualified HCPC-registered Music Therapists provide individual and group therapy depending on your child’s needs. All our Saturday Service staff hold a DBS Enhanced Disclosure with Barred List Check.

How does the service work?

We will first carry out an assessment over five weeks (one 30 minute session per Saturday). Initially there will be a consultation by phone or Zoom with you and the Music Therapist. This will be followed by three in-person Music Therapy sessions with your child.

In the fifth and final week, we will provide a consultation session setting out a therapy plan to meet your child’s needs. This plan will be used for a further block of 11 sessions.

After your child has received a block of ten therapy sessions, the 11th Saturday will be a feedback session where we can discuss your child’s progress with you and plan any further sessions they may need.
