EMT Music Therapists observe, assess and define individualised plans for referred children/young people and offer educational services covering a range of challenges and difficulties.

  • Digital Transformation, especially developed during the pandemic
  • Family Work

Additional work undertaken by Therapists includes:

  • Training for staff groups, in-house training and case study presentations for School Staff and Trustees
  • Written resources

EMT Music Therapists are Qualified Practitioners

EMT Music Therapist are all:

  • Postgraduate trained, with a Master’s degree in Music Therapy
  • State registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (www.hcpc-uk.org)
  • Members of the British Association for Music Therapy – national body
  • Holders of enhanced DBS Clearance
  • Supported by EMT for Therapists Continual Professional Development
  • Exposed to clinical and peer supervision, access to training courses and conferences where appropriate
